Garlic Sesame T-Bones or Porterhouse Steaks

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dark sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons chili-garlic sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tender steaks, 1-inch thick
  • 2 -4 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  • 1 In ziploc baggie, combine first 5 ingredients.
  • 2 Add steaks, turn bag over and over to coat both sides of each steak well.
  • 3 Marinate in fridge for 30 minutes to overnight.
  • 4 Heat broiler, remove steaks from bag saving marinade.
  • 5 Place steaks on lightly geased broiler pan.
  • 6 Spoon half of the marinade on steaks.
  • 7 Broil 4-6 inches from heat for 4 minutes.
  • 8 Turn steaks over, top with rest of marinade, and broil 4-5 minutes longer for medium rare.
  • 9 Plate, and sprinkle with sesame seeds and parsley.
  • 10 *Let rest 5 minutes before eating.
  • 11 You can also slice this thinly and serve over rice or make wraps.
  • 12 These can also be cooked on a grill.
