Caramel Pear Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3 medium pears, peeled and sliced

Directions

  • 1 Combine first 4 ingredients well and stir in melted butter. It will be crumbly. Reserve one cup and press the rest into the bottom of a buttered pie pan or square baking dish.
  • 2 Arrange pears over crust and drizzle with caramel sauce. Sprinkle the reserved crust mix over top.
  • 3 Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and pears are tender.
  • 4 Garnish with whipped cream, freshly ground cinnamon and/or additional caramel sauce.
