Beef Dip

Time: 5 hrs

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 lb) beef chuck roast
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 -4 peppercorns
  • 8 French rolls

Directions

  • 1 Place roast in slow cooker.
  • 2 Add water, soy sauce,rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, bay leaf, peppercorns.
  • 3 Cover and cook for 5-6 hours on high or until beef is tender.
  • 4 Remove meat from broth, shred with forks and keep warm.
  • 5 Strain broth. Pour broth into cups for dipping. Serve beef on rolls.
