Pickled Eggs

Time: 120 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 24 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups vinegar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons salt

Directions

  • 1 Boil the eggs for 8-10 minutes;let them completely cool and then peel.
  • 2 Place eggs in a large sanitized glass jar.
  • 3 Combine the remaining ingredients and boil the brine for 5 minutes.
  • 4 Allow the brine to cool for a bit and then pour over the eggs.
  • 5 Cover tightly and let stand for 5- 7 days before using.
