Green Coleslaw

Ingredients
- 12 cups slivered cabbage
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, diced fine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
- 1 tablespoon salt
Directions
- 1 Toss together cabbage, pepper and onion.
- 2 Sprinkle with sugar and toss.
- 3 Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- 4 Pour over the slaw and toss. Let stand one hour.
- 5 Refrigerate a minimum of an hour, but a few hours is good.
