Apple-Goat Cheese Bruschetta

Ingredients
- 16 slices French bread (1/2 inch thick)
- 1 medium apple, chopped
- 1/4 cup goat cheese, crumbled
- 3/4 teaspoon fresh thyme, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh oregano, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper, coarsely ground
Directions
- 1 Place bread slices on an ungreased baking sheet.
- 2 Broil 3-4 inches from the heat for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
- 3 Combine the apple, goat cheese, thyme, oregano and pepper; sprinkle over bread.
- 4 Broil 1 minute or until cheese is softened.
